    1. Hello, Michael.

I am very happy you like the tool kit. Parallax is also a favorite of mine. I am very happy you like it. There will be more to come.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Have an amazing day! 🙂

    1. Hello, Douglas. Actually, I have added a Holiday Theme pack to my to-do list. The plan is to try to cover all the holidays in one pack. Please let me know of anything you would like to see in that pack. 🙂

      1. Hi @719, Just wanted to let you know that Particles Transition has hearts shape for valentines. Also, you can add any of your own shapes and designs for any holiday occasion. Please let me know what you think.

  1. New Journey! After much requests for On Screen controls, I have decided to take on the mission to learn code. Specifically Objective C, Cocoa, and FXPlug. I have ordered my books and I am excited to learn new things that will make the templates more powerful and user-friendly.

Also, if anyone has any experience with these coding languages, please let me know as I would love to have someone’s brain to pick. Thank you again for all your amazing support and have a wonderful day! 🙂

  2. Now we can reply to comments directly through email. So if you are following a comment page or posted a comment, instead of having to log in to reply we can simply reply through email.

I am still testing this, but I thought it was a great to save time as we build our community. Please let me know what you think and have an amazing day!

    1. Hello Dawn. Thank you for your purchase.

I am sorry to say, but Final Cut Pro cannot add sound to generators, yet.

At this time, the best way to add the audio is to sync it manually under the generator template. If you would like, I can record a video tutorial for you tomorrow on how to do this.

Another option, if you have a lot of videos with audio, is to use Slide Show Creator Pro:

Slideshow Creator Pro works as an effect instead of a generator. That means we add the effect onto the photo or video/audio. Once we get the look we want we then copy or paste the effect to all the other clips. Or we may also edit all your clips into one compound clip and then add the effect to the whole compound clip.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Also, you have a 90-day money-back guarantee on any of purchase, if you need one please let me know.

Thank you for your support and have an amazing day! 🙂

      1. Ok thanks. I can’t get the videos to load in any of the drop zones except for the first drop zone so I don’t think it will work anyways. I’m trying to make a video for a testimonial and I have 5 small video clips that I’m trying to use.

      2. Hello Dawn,

I will make create a quick video tutorial on how to get the audio and video to work with your template.

Using videos is a little tricky with generators, I believe this is something Apple can and will work on to improve.
In the meantime, we have to use a workaround to get audio and video to sync correctly.

I will post the video tutorial here and in the documentation as soon as it is ready.

Thank you for your patience and have an amazing day!

        Thank you Russ,

I am happy you had noticed. I will be working on this tomorrow and should have something soon.

Thank you for your patience and have a lovely day.

  4. Patrick Southern will be giving a FREE webinar on HDR in Final Cut Pro X January 16th at 11:30am PST on Pro Video Coalition

In December of 2017, Apple released Final Cut Pro X 10.4 with support for HDR grading. There has been a lot of confusion about the HDR tools and how they can be used.

During this webinar, you’ll be able to learn how to set up your edit bay for HDR. You’ll also learn the settings necessary to work in both HDR10 and Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG). By the end of the webinar, you will know the basics of how to get up and running with HDR in FCPX and deliver to HDR ready platforms like YouTube and Vimeo.

  5. Hello. Sorry for being gone for a bit. I have beeing re-coding the website. Now it should load faster than before.
Also, the site is more mobile friendly. Please let me know what you think and have an amazing day! 🙂

  6. Here is a nice little feature I have just discovered for Vimeo Users.

Once you install the Vimeo MacOS app we get a Vimeo Advanced Export setting in our media export button in FCPX. With this, we can export the type of video compression we want and best of all we can now replace a Vimeo video that is already on our Vimeo account. This has been a huge time saver for me. 🙂

    Read more about it here:

  7. Hi! Below is a video just shared by a new customer, Carsten using some of the templates found here. It makes me so happy to see the templates in action!

  8. For the player controls, is there a way to offset the icons in various places on the field. Right now it only goes from a range of 100 to -100 but that does not cover the length of the field. I want to put pictures in various places on the field.

    1. Hello @sheila1314217 !

If I add more distance it would appear that way when it animates on, unless we have the intro animation off.

I could add more distance or, we can also just select the option to use just one player and place them anywhere we want on the field separately.

Please keep in mind that if I add more distance in the up and down offset, it will appear that way on the animation intro when the players appear.

However, if we leave the animation intro off then it will not be a problem. This is due to a limitation on how the animation works.

Please let me know if you would still want me to add more distance to cover the entire field.

Thank you and have an amazing day!

  9. Here is something I am working on that will be part of a Video Intro Package:

Please let me know what you think. Yearly members will receive early sneak peek access as soon as it is ready. 🙂

        Hi, Rhynell.

I am so happy, you love this template! Thank you for your kind words.

Also, I saw your requests in the requests and ideas section. I am upgrading that feature so it will be down for a bit, but as soon as it is ready I will respond to your suggestions.

Thank you very much for your continued support and have an amazing day! 🙂

  10. Hello!

I had just transferred all the subscriptions to the new subscription platform. The reason for the migration is to have both the individual sales and subscriptions all on one single platform. This will provide a smoother workflow, offer more payment options and add more flexibility.

Here is a quick overview of how the new account page works:

Please let me know if you have any questions and have an amazing day! 🙂

  11. Hello!
Here is a quick video showing how the price is locked in ( or grandfathered in ) for anyone that wants to resubscribe. Whatever the price was when you had first signed up it will be the same price for all future renewals.

Here is a quick video overview of how this works:

If you have any questions, please let me know. Have an amazing day!

  12. Hello!
Now that the big work of migrating subscribers and website is done, I am back into the full swing of template creation. I am working on the tutorial for the next up and a coming template called Elegant Video Intro.

Here are some examples of what can be done with it:

  13. Hello! I found a cool trick when recording videos or audio. We can use a Dog Training Clicker every time we make a mistake. This way when we go to edit we can quickly find the mistakes using the waveform. Happy editing! 🙂

  14. Here is a great tutorial by my friend Bret from BretFX. In this tutorial, he shows us how to create custom animation using the included Custom Text from Final Cut Pro:

      1. Hi Vince. I started working on variable line options yesterday and will add some more today. I should have a beta version soon. 🙂

  15. Hello,
I wanted to share an update for the Happy Funky Video Intro Template coming soon, with new options and features.
Please let me know what you think:

Thank you and have an amazing day! 🙂

  16. I will be launching the new beta version of Happy Video Intro soon. I just have some technical difficulties with my Package Creator program, as soon as it is ready I will let you know.

In the meantime here is the Update Beta Sneak Peak. Thank you for your patience and I will keep you posted on my progress.

To comment and share your feedback please do so by replying to the email or by visiting

Thank you and have an amazing day!

  17. Hi!
I will be testing a new Tool that was just shared with me. It looks too good to be true, but technology has done some amazing things, that anything is possible. This app removes Background noise. The free version blocks background noise when we listen. The paid version blocks noise when we listen and when we speak.

This link is for the App:
This link is a referral code for 2 months Free of the Pro version:

I will be testing in future tutorial recordings. Please let me know what you all think. Have a great day! ?

  18. I had a few days of delay. Since it seems that Apple will not be supporting Package Maker in future OS releases, I have decided to get and learn a new App to package and deliver the Templates. The App I will be using is called Packages and so far I love it. Eventually, I would like to learn how to do it all in code to save more time.

Thank you, Bret, from for walking me through and helping me understand Packages App. You Rock!

  19. I just wanted to quickly share one of my favorite places to buy Stock images for my Demo videos and tutorials. I use their flexible plan and I think the quality and price are great! Please let me know what you think or let me know what photo & stock library you use. 🙂

    1. Thanks Deyson — appreciate the shout out and I really enjoyed our chat today.

As always from them, I get great ideas and insights into approaching them.

      1. You are very welcome! I look forward to our next meeting. You gave me plenty to learn. I also look forward to seeing your short films. Have an amazing day! 🙂

  20. I want to send a huge thank you to Steve Teare. He is a performance engineer and his books and guidance have helped speed up my website without the need for CDN and 3rd party “speed tools” that cost time and money. Thank you, Steve! You are awesome! Please check out his website and read his books:

  21. This is something many of us may know, but to those that do not, Automator can be a Huge Time Saver!!

For a while now I have been packaging my templates before I deliver them to customers, clients, etc. However, Apple is adding more steps to the workflow. My steps are to create folders my template delivery packages, create tutorials, marketing items, Resources, etc. Then I create a Package, Build a Package Bundle, Notarize the Package, Add Notarization Info, Staple Notarization, Verify and then deliver.

Fortunately, my good friend Joe Workman had recommended I Automate the entire process with Automator. Automator is a tool I had used many years ago, but I had forgotten about it. So I got busy to get reacquainted with it and I am thrilled I did.

Now, what used to take me 30-60 minutes ( depending on human error, etc ) now it only takes me a few seconds with one Automation workflow to accomplish all of the above steps.

My workflow is a little complex as I use Apple Script, Shell Script, and some Perl scripting and it took me a few days to get it to work, but I believe it was well worth the time.

Many of you may not need advanced scripting workflow like me, but even simple automation can help save time. Even 1-5 minutes of a repetitive task can add up to 20-100 minutes a month, or 240-1,200 minutes a year! That is a lot of time. 🙂

Here are some links to what helped me learn more about what is possible with Automator.

I also attached a screenshot of all the steps my automation has below.

Hopefully, this helps some of you. Please let me know what you think in the comments below.

  22. I am a big fan of Affinity. I think it is a great low-cost alternative to Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and a great companion to Apple’s Motion. I thought this was a great example fo what can be done with Affinity Designer.

  23. 15 Streams of 4k Multicam 4:4:4:4 XQ Playback.

Yes, it may seem expensive, but not too long ago we would have spent millions of dollars and not come close to what we can do with this. This machine seems to have been created for true High-End professionals.

  24. It was nice seeing some of the free template animations I had created being demonstrated in French. It makes me so happy to see others enjoying some of my work. Thank you! 🙂

  25. A new tutorial by Bret Williams of on how to create and retime Bullet Lists.  He also gave a short demo on how Bullet Creator Pro works.  Thank you, Bret! 🙂

  26. I thought this was a cool and interesting video.

It amazes me how they have video games for almost everything.
This video is about fixing traffic in a City Builder.

What I liked is how technology and GG can help us understand how our cities work and maybe even help make them better:

  27. Need another place to meet Creatives in the industry of Design?

This is one I plan to go and I have heard great things about this organization called AIGA. I now live in Jacksonville and there is not Siggraph Group nearby so I thought I would check out an AIGA meeting.

So far I am very impressed by what I have researched about the local chapter through their social media accounts. I am excited to meet new creatives.

  28. Here is a sneak peek of what I am working on next. It will be an entire pack of Mark-Ups for your visual presentations.
Please let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions or requests. Thank you! 🙂

  29. The second teaser is here for Mark Ups Pro Pack. I had added new features, shapes, and styles. There is more to come so please stay tuned.
All active members can now download the Beta Early release through the Slack Group.

  30. While learning how to get my VoiceOver to sound better, I came across this great tutorial. I took some parts of it and was able to improve my VO which I will use for my next tutorial video. 🙂

  31. Just came across a cool app to help stay focused on tasks:

Get 2x more free tasks on Slash! Download here: Your invite code: 6QcxpQA6

The invite code gives us 50 extra tasks on the free plan. So far it has helped me today. If in a week I see major progress I will update to the paid plan.
